What is the Transducer Buddy made of?
Every Transducer Buddy™ is crafted with precision-engineered materials to match the quality of your high-performance fishing boat. The bracket is made from stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance, while the body features anodized aluminum components for lightweight durability. This is premium hardware—built to perform.
What makes the Transducer Buddy different from any other sonar pole?
Unlike traditional mounts that require time-consuming deployment and clunky clamps, the Transducer Buddy auto-stows and deploys in seconds. No fumbling with brackets or clamps. Just fish. Our spring-powered, mechanical design gives you back the one thing you can’t buy: your time on the water.

Can I use two transducers on one pole?
Yes—though it’s optimized for one, the Transducer Buddy is built strong. Many of our customers run two FFS transducers on a single pole. Auto-stow speeds may vary slightly, but you’ll still experience smooth deploy and breakaway action
Is the Transducer Buddy motorized or battery powered?
No need for electronics here. The Transducer Buddy is a fully mechanical unit, powered by torsion springs and hydrostatic force to deliver it’s signature auto stowing kick up.
How fast can I troll before it auto-stows?
You can comfortably troll between 3–5 mph, depending on water conditions. For faster trolling, adjust the depth collar to increase resistance. You’ll still enjoy reliable stow and deploy functionality without needing a locking mechanism.
